AAB Athletics Development Program - Talent ID Camp 2013

The AAB continues its Athletics Development Program and is pleased to announce that a Talent ID Camp will be held at Harrison College from July 24th-August 14th, 2013.

We are targeting athletes in the U13 and U15 categories only. There is limited space available.

Athletes who have represented their schools at Napsac and Bssac but are not part of a club or similar structure are encouraged to register. It is likely that this program may be oversubscribed so persons may be deferred to a subsequent program offering. The registration fee for the camp is $50.00, there are no other fees.

Please call our office 427-4684  tomorrow betweeen Noon and 4PM to register for the program.

The camp will commence on Wednesday 24th July at Harrison College.

Camp Director - Mr. Adrian Thorne (IAAF Level 5 Academy Coach, Physical Education Teacher, National Coach to the 2013 World Youth Team, Head Coach of the High Performance Program)

Coach & Program Leader - Mr. Brian Holder (IAAF Level 5 Academy Coach, Physical Education Teacher, National Coach to the 2013 Carifta Games and CAC Senior Teams, AAB Council Member)

Coach & Program Leader - Mr. Raymond Rudder (IAAF Level 5 Academy Coach, Physical Education Teacher, National Coach to the 2013 CAC Age Group Team, AAB Council Member)

The above team will be supplemented with other coaches and various other professionals to deliver the various program modules.

The program will be weekdays 9AM - 1PM, athletes are expected to be at the pavilion no later than 830AM. Athletes shall wear appropriate athletic training gear and have a packed lunch and water bottle. This is an athletic training camp, athletes will be put through various high intensity workouts and tests, so come prepared to sweat.

Athletes shall receive training in the various track and field disciplines (Running, Jumps, Throws, Hurdles). In addition there will be sessions on National Representation, Public Speaking, Nutrition, Anti-Doping, Balancing Academics and Athletics and much more.
